Hi,

I'd like to know about the meaning of reserved vlan's (range:1006 to 1023), I have the following configuration:

SW1#

1006 Online Diagnostic Vlan1

1007 Online Diagnostic Vlan2

1008 Online Diagnostic Vlan3 1009 Voice Internal Vlan 1011 Dtp Vlan 1012 Private Vlan Internal Vlan

1016 Online SP-RP Ping Vlan

SW2#

1006 Online Diagnostic Vlan1 1007 Online Diagnostic Vlan2

1008 Online Diagnostic Vlan3 1009 Voice Internal Vlan

1010 Dtp Vlan

1011 Private Vlan Internal Vlan 1016 Online SP-RP Ping Vlan

I don't know if I can have any problem with vlan name (DTP vlan) because on SW1 is vlan number 1011 and on SW2 is vlan number 1012 and I want to configure an Etherchannel between these two switches.

Reserved or internal vlans are used by the switch internally and are not user configurable. The fact that the DTP vlan is different on each switch will not affect you ability to form an etherchannel between the 2 switches and DTP information will be passed on vlan 1 across the link.
