Dear All,

May I know under what kind of situation the CTS will show down, the circuit is running fine currently. thank you.

SATTSA1#sh int s1/0

Serial1/0 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is M4T

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1536 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 55/255, rxload 167/255

Encapsulation PPP, LCP Open, multilink Open, crc 16, loopback not set

Restart-Delay is 0 secs

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 12:41:35

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Queueing strategy: weighted fair [suspended, using FIFO]

Hi,

The "modem" you're connected to incorrectly keeps CTS down, or there is a cabling problem.

However, router sees DCD up and doesn't care about CTS.

Actually, in most cases, CTS/RTS are uninfluent on point-to-point synchronous circuits.
