Persistant Varialble in UCCx

Unanswered Question

Hi all, hope you can help.

Does anyone know if there is a way to set a variable in a script, but make it persistant. So that even when the script ends, that variable is available for another script to access.

I was hoping that using the set and get enterprise call info would do the trick but it does not.

Basically i am trying to use a management script to turn things on and off. Then have the main script refer to these variables to make choices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Gary.

Hi,

You have to set an external variable as a Database or XML one. There is basically no "global variable" held in ipccx that you can handle in all the scripts.

I would do it by a DB or an xml file. Write to the external variable in your management script and read it in your main screen to make it available.

Best regards,

Chawki

Many thanks,

I was afraid of that. XML file it is then...as they don't have premium licenses for DB access.

Thanks again,

Gary.
