HI,

I have set the numbering type to be unknown for my outgoing dial-peer but when i see the isdn debug i could see the numbering type is national and isdn plan

dial-peer voie 202 pots

numbering-type unknown

destination-pattern 2312144

port 0/1/0:15

forward-digits all

I am using my ip phone to dial a local number. I have created sip trunk and route pattern for 2312144.

The provider expects me to send unknown as numbering type for local calls.

Any suggestions

You can set the numbering type under the isdn port:

isdn map address . plan unknown type unknown

I have only 1 E1 PRI..if i set this at this isdn port "unknown" would be set for all calls. I want this to be only for local landline calls. This type "unknown" should be set only for local landline calls and for all others national is required (set default by the router). This is the provider's requirement.

Hi,

I suggest you try "unknown" for all calls, chances are it will work despite what the SP says. If not, you will need multiple map statements or translation-rule to set different numbering type for each type of call.
