List of supported encryption or way for security CallManager inter-trunk

Dear All,

I have 4.2(3)sr1 clusters in severals places and I will need deploy trunk-intercluster(no-gk-controlled)through the WAN, then for me is mandatory a security interconnection, my question is what kind of type or form of encryption can I use for my inter-sites with this version of callmanager or I have to do an updgrade?, I know that into the enterprice parameters/Device Security Mode can leave encrypted, is it enough?

Hola Andres,

Unfortunately this option is not available for versions 4.X, but it is available for version 5.x,6.x and 7.x

Both clusters must be secure.

Trunk between the 2 clusters must be protected.

You can use ICT trunks which use IPSec.

SIP trunks can be protected through TLS

If you are using 4.x you may setup a GRE, IPSEc tunnel between those servers/Phones

What about if I would like to use an gk for centralize my clusters there.Anyway I will need upgrade of version?
