I recently upgraded from 4.1 to 6.1.1.
I would like to benefit from the Intercom Feature, but I cannot assign the button to a phone.
I have created a button template, and added the intercom button to the template. I added the template to the phone, but I do not see an appearance. I have tried this on a 7970 and a 7961.
Please advise.

Do you have the "Default Activated Device" set to the Device Name (SEP123456789012) on the Intercom Directory Number page?

Did you associate the intercom line with the phone?

Yes. My phone looks like this in ccm admin page:
1 Line [1] - 7174 in Phone
2 Line [2] - 51290 in Phones
3 Line [3] - Add a new DN
4 Intercom [1] - 5555 in I_RM
I just do not see the button on the phone!

I am seeing the exact thing CCM 6.1.1...7961.
Did you get this resolved??
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No joy here. It has been on the back burner, but I guess it is time for me to open a TAC case.
