Hi,
I have a 2611XM 32F, router that I want to upgrade the Flash to its max capacity of 48MB.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/2600/hardware/installation/notes/2600mem.html
The above document states the Flash increments of 16, 32, and 48MBs with a 3.3-V simm for my model. It also lists the part numbers for a 16MB and 32MB simm, omitting the 48MB.
I found the following term "16MB Non removable base memory" from:
http://www.memoryx.net/ci26moacrofm3.html
I just can't find any official clarification on cisco.com, re if theres 16MB onboard (nonremovable), and whether an upgrade to 48MB, just requires a 32MB chip. I currently do not have physical access to the deivce. I can't find the link I had yesterday, but I'm pretty sure there is only 1 simm slot on the board.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Yes the XM always have 16MB soldered on MB and yes upgrade to 48 MB requires a 32 MB module.
