I was told by an instructor for a LWAPP class to Salt & Pepper my AP deployments with different controllers so that if one controller goes down or I upgrade code on one, the other APs stay up on the floor. I have now recently read that I should avoid intercontroller roaming as much as possible. I would like to hear your opinions on this subject and how you layout your LWAPP deployments. I will be deploying up to 500 APs using 6 WLC for N+1 redundancy. Note: I will also be deploying wireless VOIP soon. Does anyone know of any Cisco docs referring to this topic?
