error when insering a new IP Phone on CUSM 6.0(1)

Hi dear,


I've got an error when i tried to inser a new phone in CUSM 6.0(1)..The error message is in the attached...


Maybe it's about licensing that needs to be validate on Cisco Web site, right?

Hi Mohamed,


You bet my friend. Once the "Permanent" licenses have been loaded this error will disappear and you will be ready to go!

Yes, you are most correct! This error does reflect a Licensing issue. Have you uploaded all the required licenses? Is this a lab or production box? Is this a migration from CCM 4.x to 6.x?

This is a production box...a new installation.


No, i didn't upload the required licenses...Should i request the required license using my PAK on http://www.cisco.com/go/license ?
