Hi,

I have two Cisco ASA 5520 having VPN plus license, currently we are using only one and other one is kept as ideal.

I want to configure Active/Standby failover by using this two. I have checked in ASA it showing I have license for Active /Active failover only.

Please find ASA license details..

Licensed features for this platform:

Maximum Physical Interfaces : Unlimited

Maximum VLANs : 100

Inside Hosts : Unlimited

Failover : Active/Active

VPN-DES : Enabled

VPN-3DES-AES : Enabled

Security Contexts : 2

GTP/GPRS : Disabled

VPN Peers : 750

WebVPN Peers : 2

This platform has an ASA 5520 VPN Plus license.

Please guide How can I get UR license to configure Active/standby failover.

thanx,

som

Active/Active failover only possible when you use Security Contexts.

Please clear my doubts!!

I got information that I can configure Active/Standby failover if one of the ASA having Unrestricted license.

I have two ASA and both having Active/Active license. Shall I configure Active/Standby failover with this two or I need to upgrade my license??

Need ur help to solve it..
