Problem with WCS 4.0 Web Logon

Unanswered Question

I have WCS for Linux installed on a network. I recently had to change the IP Address of the WCS which I did through the Linux CLI. However since then I cannot HTTPS into WCS. I get prompted with the login page but I cannot view any other pages.

I have stopped and restarted the WCS Service and I get the following message on the CLI

[[email protected]-wcs01 WCS4.0]#

[[email protected]-wcs01 WCS4.0]# ./StopWCS

WCS is stopped.

Shutting down database server ...

Database server successfully shutdown.

Shutting down Apache server ...

/opt/WCS4.0/webnms/apache/bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: cannot

open shared object file: No such file or directory

Failed to shutdown Apache server.

[[email protected]-wcs01 WCS4.0]# ./StartWCS

Starting WCS

Port 21 is in use. ServerSocket binding gave exception Address already in us

Port 21 needed by the server is being used by some other application.

Please free the port and restart the Server.

Has anyone seen this before? I would rather not have to re-build WCS

I have this problem too.

WCS's license is bound to its IP address, once you changed the IP, your previously installed license is invalid, so what you need to do is either apply a new license or change the IP to the previous one
