Inbound Call Digit Manipulation on 3845 Router

Currently we have 3 digits sent by the carrier on inbound calls in Italy. We are using 4 digit ext. numbers on our cluster (to allow for future growth). We will be using MGCP on the 3845. Can anyone tell how to add in an extra digit infront of the ext number when it arrives at the gateway eg. 234 would become 1234 and then hit the correct ext number on call manager.

not with MGCP, you would need to use H323 and translation rules.

or, add it as a prefix under the CUCM GW config.

but directly on the router only with H323
