Transfered Calls are rejected when originating from a blocked number

All,

I have a little problem that lies around our remote users. When an employee is working from home they forward their office lines to either their home or cell phones. This part works fine and works for every circumstance except when a call originates from someone not sending their caller ID, or from a blocked number.

Has anyone else run across this problem?

Hi Mike,

Are the users having this issue using CUCM or CME for call control?

Michael.

Mike,

The issue looks a lot like CSCej61018

If it is, the release notes indicate that the issue is fixed in newer releases. Otherwise a workaround would be to configure a voice translation rules in the gateway that would translate any null calling party number to a random number.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Michael.
