Folks, imagine I have to provide IP phones to 30 people in a small office. Cisco 375048P PoE swich is in place, but has only 4 ports available (therefore I can't extend cables to every user for regular wired IP phones. Cisco access points are in place. Imagine Cisco VoIP is in place.
Can I take advantage of wireless phones for this? I am just wondering that if I deploy wireless phones for office users, people could walk away with phones if they are wireless? Do you have any model suitable to this scenario?
Cisco does offer this capability using the IP Phone 7921G. Practically speaking this is a interesting route to go. There would be a number of design considerations as detailed in the attached doc. I think it also may actually be cheaper to go with another PoE switch and "wired" IP Phones due the high cost of wireless phones :)

Hope this helps!
