IOS inquiries

Unanswered Question
Jun 30th, 2008

I recently bought a used catalyst 2950 24 port switch that is missing an IOS. I am having trouble navigating the Cisco website and wondered if someone could lead Me in the right direction in order to download one. Your site says I have been locked out of downloading IOS software because I'm not a resale partner nor a CCIE and do not have a service contract to My knowledge. I'm trying very hard to construct My own lab in order to take and successfully pass My CCNA exam. Can someone please help Me?

The problem is IOS is licensed software.

If you have not paid for it, got a software contract or are not a CCIE, the Cisco.com site will not allow you to download any IOS.

Your best bet may be to contact a Cisco sales rep and ask how you can obtain a licensed copy of the IOS you need; or you can use the link below to access the Cisco.com Ordering page where you can find a few paths for ordering the IOS product you need.
