Is there a way to block activex and java using the ASA? I would need to block all activex/java with the exception of a few requested sites, is that possible?

Hi Niro,

- To filter my inside NW 10.0.0.0/24 to download java from any site via HTTP =

myASA(config)# filter java 80 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

myASA(config)# filter activex 80 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0

Rate if this helps.

I tried that and it doesn't seem to be working...I tried going to this site:

http://bodo.com/javame.htm

and all the tests pass even though they should be blocked..am I missing something?
