pix501 firewall - how to open a port so 2 pcs can talk

I have definition files on my xp pc and I want all the users to get the definition file for symantec. Somehow the ENDPOINT version of symantec cannot communicate with other pcs and I was told by Symantec tech support that I need to open couple of ports. Port 80 and port 2648 in order for both pcs to talk.

Can someone please show me how to open a port?

My xp pcs has static ip address of 10.10.12.8 and other pcs/workstations getting their ip address from DHCP.

ok, but where is PIX ? :) whai is "ip address from DHCP"? is in the same lan segment/vlan?
