Hello,
I'm struggling trying to get ad-hoc conferencing working on our UC520 with more than 3 parties. I've been told there are enough DSP resources and that this is possible on this unit. I've attached the commands which should make this possible to this post. Here are the parts of modifying my config I think where the problem may lay:
UC520(config-voicecard)#sccp local loopback0
This change requires SCCP to be in shutdown state.
UC520(config)#sccp ccm 10.1.1.1 identifier 1 version 4.1
CCM ip addr 10.1.1.1 is already configured;
Unconfigure that CCM and then retry...
UC520(config)#
UC520(config)#sccp
SCCP operational state is up already.
UC520(config)#
UC520(config)#sccp ccm group 1
UC520(config-sccp-ccm)# associate ccm 1 priority 1
The specified CCM is already associated to the selected CCM group.

After entering these command I am not even able to do a normal 3 party ad-hoc conference--the phone says "Could not complete Conference". Please see full attachment.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Julian

Jualian,
I haven't looked at you config (pls use .txt next time) but first guess is that you haven't configured the necessary ephone-dn's for conferencing.
Now that yo set conferencing HW, you also need to configure that explicitly also for ad-hoc (that will become multi-party as well).
It's a bit tedious because you have to anticipate the maximums used and configure accordingly.
If after reviewing you still won't be able to find the config issue, I or someone else will look at it anyway.

You are still missing some commands:
voice class custom-cptone jointone

cadence 100 150 100 150
!
voice class custom-cptone leavetone
dualtone conference
frequency 300 900
cadence 200 100 200
sccp ccm group 100
bind interface loopback0
associate ccm 6200 priority 1
associate profile 10 register confdsp1
!
dspfarm profile 10 conference
codec g711ulaw
maximum sessions 8
conference-join custom-cptone jointone
conference-leave custom-cptone leavetone
associate application SCCP
Just an example, then the admin guide has a longish step-by-step guide.
