IP Communicator Registration Issue

Hi folks,

I installed a IP Communicator on a notebook (Windows XP SP3) connected across a VPN to CCM (6.1). IPC starts, download localization but not display line on the upper right corner. On CCM web page it seem registered succesfully but I can't call it and IPC can 't call me.

On VPN link I opened:

-tftp (UDP 69)

-skynny (tcp 2000)

-rtp (UDP 16384-32767)

Thanks in advance,

Stefano

Cisco IP Communicator no longer supports AutoUpdate functionality provided in any release of Cisco Unified Communications Manager. You must use a software deployment tool and the Cisco IP Communicator installer to update the application.

If you put the config file on a TFTP server locally on your PC it will registered just fine. The phone should try to register with the CCM pointed by TFTP setting normally. So if you have CCM running on PUB it should work despite the fact TFTP traffic is blocked.
