Unity Connection and SRST

I need to know what my options are with the following scenario...

Two sites: HQ with CM Cluster and a Unity Connection Server, and a remote site with SRST and a separate Unity Connection Server. I want the remote site's Unity connection to register with the SRST gateway in the event of a WAN failure/loss of communication to the CM Cluster at HQ. What options do I have? Do I have to allocate some ports permanently to the SRST gateway and build a separate integration?
