Can the USB port on a Sup720 be used for anything else other than a USB stick? What is Cisco's future plans on switching to USB for console access?

I have not heard of any plans in the future for using the USB port for console access. I do know in some of the newer routers are using them for additional storage using a flash drive, as well as security tokens "eToken".
Here is a link for more info on the eToken.
