WCCP performance on router (7200+NPE-G2)

I'm looking for a data center caching solution.

I can only find performance comparison of C3845 router with small number

of sessions (5 only). CPU usage will be increased by 50% when WCCP is turned

on.

Does anyone know the performance figure of 7200+NPE-G2 when WCCP is on?

Or does anyone have deployed 7200 with cache applicant?

Alex,

The WCCP impact of WCCP on software-based platforms is primarily determined by throughput, not the number of sessions. We have tested throughput on the NPE-G2 up to 540Mbps, and the CPU utilization was 64%.
