JTapi gateway call

We are developing a JTapi application, and are having trouble getting it to make an external call.

We have also tried using the makecall example which will make calls between ip phones but not from an ip phone to external numbers. the the error is 'address 9xxxxx is not in the providers domain'.

Does any one have any ideas or suggestions as to what might be wrong or what cucm config might be missing, we are running CUCM 6.1.1

Are you using the makecall sample and giving one number as external number?

This does obviously not work for external numbers because the sample makes a call, answers it and the hangs up. How would jtapi have an external call answered? It cannot because it has no control over that number, and hence the error message which tells you that jtapi cannot control that (external) number.

But you can rip out the code to just make a call and use it in your own software and that will work just fine.
