hello, i am interested in a career as a cisco engineer...right now looking for resources for obtaining my CCNA...i have a generic question though. Do most CCNA/CCNP/CCIE's have to travel with that line of work? Travel from site to site, state to state, country to country is what I mean. thanks

It depends on the type of work and employer. If you work as a consultant you may traval depending on the type of projects you get assigned to. If you end up working as a network eingeer for a company you may travel very rarly and support your company from centrelized HQ. So, when you begin looking for a job make sure you ask the employer about travel requirements.

thanks a lot..i do not like to travel and rather not for work especially. I figured i'd ask around because if there is normally travel involved, then maybe i should look into something else.
