hi every body !
I know using max age timer, switch finds out the indirect link failure. So on port
which is connected to host, host cant send bpdu as it is not switch, so how would switch determines the indirect failure, assuming port fast is not enabled
thanks alot and have a wonderful day !

Hi!
Since the lin is connected to a host, there is no chance of having a "indirect-link-failure" on that port. Since the link doesnot recieve any BPDUs, the only way to cause any change in spanning tree is if the link itself goes down.
