Good Afternoon,
Can someone please help / advise:
Every time i press the settings button on a 7970 handset an error message on screen displays "This key is not active here!".
Please can you advise why this is happening and a possible resolution

Hi Chijioke,
Can you check via ccmadmin;
Device>Phone (find this 7970) Product Specific Configuration>Settings Access>Enabled

You are spot on. Configuration was set to disabled. Is this the default setting when adding a device to CCM?

Good stuff :) The Default setting when adding IP Phones is "Enabled".
