Hi!
I need to perform some probes with aironet 1522 AP. I want to probe them without the mesh capability,so, is there anyway to put the 1522 AP in standalone mode?
Thanks!

Not that I am aware of, the 1500 series is purely LWAPP and needs a controller...

Hi Juan,
Mmm, Mike is probably refering to this document:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/1520/quick/guide/ap1520qsg.html
Standalone here refers to the AP, a standalone device, but it is still LWAPP and needs a controller.
Getting to the cisco web site, wireless download section, does not show any IOS standalone code for the 1522... which is logical, the 1522 is to be a mesh AP, which implies AWPP, which implies LWAPP... I am afraid that you will need a controller...
