User migration between Unity systems

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade from Unity 4.2(1) to Unity 5.0(1).

The upgrade strategy is going to build a separate Unity system, hook it up to Corporate Exchange and Call Manager cluster and then gradually migrate users.

Does anyone know of the tool that could perform the migration for selected subscribers from one Unity system to another?

Thanks!

David

currently we have COBRAS

It's still not TAC supported but might want to try it, i've heard good things of the tool. haven't had the chance to try it myself

Wow! This is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect!

The tool is fairly new and training videos available on ciscouitytools.com.

Are you aware of any caveats for backing up data off 4.2(1) and restoring onto 5.0(1)?

David

not that i know of, but some other great NetPros like Tommer are using it and seem to like it =) :

"The way I prefer to install Unity servers now, if it permits, is to use Cobras Tool."

"You can also use COBRAS which is not TAC support *yet* but works very well I have found."

once this tool gets TAC support no one will be able to live without it =)
