Solved: 6506 switch system LED amber

I am just checking a brandnew 6506 swich and it is indicating system LED in amber colour when it running.

Please consider folowing things also,

1. I'm running the system in single power connectivity.

2. The switch is not fixed in the rack and not grounded yet.

If someone can advice me whether this is a system problem or something because of above reason or else, it would be a grate help for me.

I noticed this too on a 6509 - the system light will turn green when the 2nd PSU is fitted and on......

This is just an environmental alarm on the supervisor that is letting you know that you are only using one power supply. Since you are using one power supply you can ignore the LED status. Typically you would want to use two power supplies in the chassis.
