L2L - slow remote printer if there is no other traffic on tunnel

Unanswered Question

Hub & spoke VPN topology.

Hub is ASA5510 lan

12 spokes are 1841 lan 10.1xx.0.0/16

We have Linksys WPS11 print server at each remote location.

VPN tunnel is functioning.

Problem: The printers print only if there is traffic on the tunnel, otherwise, the print job just sits in the spool.

If I do ping or a file transfer to the remote location - printers start printing. As soon as I stop - printers stop printing.

The VPN and all routing functions are working fine.

What can cause this behavior?

Thanks a lot

I have this problem too.
