There may be another limit in the code, but 235 characters seems kind of arbitrary. The truncation, however, is purely cosmetic. The full list of devices will still be processed by Device Discovery.
There is a 255 character limit for this field in the database, but before that, you should see any truncation. I certainly do see any on my server. How many neighbors does a device have when truncation occurs?
