CSA 5.1 Management Center password recovery

Is there any way to recover a MC password, short of doing a full re-install? (Assuming that the MC cannot be accessed to reset the password.)

Not that I'm aware of. You might ask TAC if they have an idea.

The only other thing I can think of (if you have access to the server) is to upgrade to 5.2.

This gives you the webmgr utility which is used just for tis purpose.

You didn't mention if you were using local database to authenticate or not but I assumed that.
