Mirroring on C6509 with CatOS.

Hi,

I have a question for you all.

I try to do vlan mirroring on C6509 switch. And I did it like below config.

Btw, is it the correct config ?

I need your advice.

I don't have much experience with 6500, but thinking of my old Cat4000 boxes, this seems to be OK. It should allow you to attach a monitor on 3/5, and you will see the traffic of the VLANs listed.

Note that you will only see traffic that passes through this switch. So whether you see the traffic you are interested in depends on where this switch sits in the topology.

inpkts means that the port 3/5 will accept packets from the monitor ... like enabling ingress on IOS.
