VPN Client 2nd Ethernet Port

I have a laptop computer running VPN Client software. I connect to a remote network and typically use Remote Desktop Connection to access one of the machines in the network 10.62.94.xxx. I want to add an Ethernet adapter in a PC Card slot or USB port on the laptop, and plug in a device that will also be part of the 10.62.94.xxx network.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

I don't think you can achieve this using the VPN client.

The VPN client creates a virtual network card that is used to encrypt the traffic, then to send it to the physical LAN card.

On the VPN client virtual card you don't have the Bridging option normally present in the physical ones.

Please rate if this helped.

Daniel
