Calls from CM to CME success BUT calls from CME to CM fail even i got from debugs that dialed digits successfully resolved.

What is the problem plz give configuration exampls

GK conf. is:

!

gatekeeper

zone local IPIPGW cisco.com 192.168.250.101

zone local CM cisco.com

zone local CME cisco.com

zone prefix CM 1... gw-priority 10 H.225GK711Trunk_1

zone prefix CM 1... gw-priority 9 H.225GK729Trunk_1

zone prefix CME 3...

alias static 192.168.100.200 1720 gkid CM gateway voip ras 192.168.100.200 1719

e164 1000 e164 1001 e164 1002

no shutdown

!

youssef.ahmed Under the ccm service paramaters there is this

Device Name of GK-controlled Trunk That Will Use Port 1720 None

Host Name/IP Address of GK That Will Use RAS UDP Port 1719 None

Populate these accordingly AND restard CCM Service. All will work then!

Those service parameters are already none ( nothing on them).

My Q. in other words to be more specific:

Can " alias static" command used to route calls to CM or not if trunks register to GK without tech-prefix??

I know, those are default of NONE. You need to set these to match your trunk you want to use alias static on. If these aren't set properly it will never work.

Hi Chad,

It worked BUT if I should have two trunks in two regions(one in G711 & other in G729)

How I let two trunks accept calls from CME .?
