I have cisco 7609 router with sup 720 3cxl(RSP720-3CXL-GE).
I need to check the memory on sup & no. of routes 720 will hold.

Hi,
Thanks for providing the commands.
I got the commands to change the max routes for protocol.
mls cef maximum-routes ip 100.
I have one more query.If i allocate all routes Max to IP protocol & i am going to use for only to hold BGP Routes.
Is there any issue if i allocate Maximum to IP protocol.Below is the output after i allocate max to IP protocol.
Router#sh mls cef maximum-routes
FIB TCAM maximum routes :
=======================
Current :-
-------
IPv4 - 1007k
MPLS - 1k (default)
IPv6 + IP Multicast - 8k (default)

I advise you to stay it as it is.
it's enough for holding BGP Routes.
