addeding same DN on two CSS

I am trying to add and extension on two differenct CSS. i get an error about duplicates not allowed. Anyone able to add an one DN at two places? We have a director that sits in Riverside Cailfornia and Rocky Mount NC

i think what you mean is a DN in same partition, you can assign whatever CSS you want and should not get that error.

just make sure that the DN is primary only on one device and secondary in any other device on which you want it

what you're trying to configure is known as shared lines, you can search on cco for further info if you want

Is Extension Mobility an option? That way, his line is not active on two seperate phones and can login to any EM enabled phone?
