I have a unity server (2.0.1.2000-337). Under the Users menu (Edit User Basics) the original entered SMTP address is shown, but grayed out. The customer wants to know how to change the SMTP address. At present, the SMTP address is the defined user Alias appended with the "@" and domain. Leaving the domain portion, how can the portion of the SMTP address be changed (preceeding the @)?

Were you able to resolve this? I'm looking for just the opposite. Trying to change the SMTP address appended after the @ sign to a FQDN.

The SMTP address is the Alias. Changing the alias will change the address prefix.
The part after the @ is the domain which can be changed from the System Setting, SMTP Configuration,Server page, SMTP Domain.

One extra bit, UC 1.x requires
http://www.ciscounitytools.com/App_CUC_DomainNameChanger.htm
to change the domain

The tool referred to only works with windows based installs.
The SMTP domain on the system settings page is CCM.domain.com
Under the user, it is alias@CCM
It should be alias@CCM.domain.com
I'm wondering if this is part of the problem when we are trying to access the server via IMAPS. The SSL certificate doesn't load properly, and I think it might be pulling the CCM cert, instead of CCM.domain.com
Any ideas?

Mark,
You can change the domain name post-installation. Check out this doc and do a search down on "domain"

Hope this helps. If so, please rate.
