IGMP in exam !

hi all, i have viewed CCIE RnS lab blue print and it didnt mentioned igmp, does it mean that igmp v3 topics will not be included in the lab ? like igmp v3 host stack and all, i hope this is not a NDA violation so pls tell me.

Since the R&S covers multicast thoroughly, it is wise to know IGMP through all versions; with an emphasis on v3.

Although the version is not mentioned in the blueprint, the IOS 12.4 train that is used in the lab does support igmp v3 so again, it would be your best bet to assure you know igmp inside and out through version 3.

You do not want to lose any points simply due to a feature of a specific version of protocol that may not have been studied enough.

thanks for the clarification, 1 thing more, can any1 forward me a good doc to start SSM, all i have found is just the cisco config guide, which is good no doubt but to start i am looking for some other doc so to get an easy start,

Any one plz ?
