Alerting and Auto-Update in IME

We recently upgraded our sensor to 6.1.1 E2. In doing so, and as per documentation, we uninstalled IEV in order to install IME.

Now that we are using IME, and IDM for 6.1.1, I was trying to determine how to perform some tasks. The help files and documentation are vague, and I cannot find the answers to the following questions in them.

1. Where does one set up alerting in IME?

2. How does one acknowledge Events in IME.

3. I have enabled Auto-Update for signatures. How can I tell if the process has ran (is there a log?)

Have you looked at the 'Events' section? By default it is set at last 10 minutes or something (The default filter). You can set it to 'Real Time' if you wish. Acknowledgments are done at the same window.

To answer 3, you can run "show stat host" and there is a section on autoUpdates showing the last attempt and next scheduled attempt.
