CM Incremental Upgrade :- apply to Active or Inactive partition ??

Hi,

I have a CM system with 5.0 (inactive) and 5.0(4) (active).

TAC suggested that I upgrade from 5.0 --> 5.0(5) ---> 5.1(3)

Now, to upgrade from 5.0(4) --> 5.1(3) do I need to first change my

Active Partition back to 5.0, and then upgrade the inactive partition ?

Or do I stay in my active patition (most current) and start the upgrade process ?

Thanks

Hi,

You can upgrade directly from 5.0(4) to 5.1.1 and then to 5.1.(3).

So you should start from 5.0(4) which is your active partition and upgrade to 5.1.1 and then to 5.1.3.

The document below shows the upgrade paths available for ccm

Thanks!

TAC seemd to suggest that an upgrade from 5.0(4c) to 5.1(3?) was possible, although the docs disagree.

To be cautious, I will try upgrading to 5.1(1c), and then to 5.1(3c)

Thanks.

I will follow thet docs. That for me is reliable.
