IPSec tunnel

Hi,

I have main office " A " where I have a PIX 525 with 3DES and DES enabled,and then I have two other branches " B " and " C ".at "B" I have a PIX 525 with 3DES and DES enabled,and at "C" I have PIX 525 with only DES enabled.

Now I am trying to create IPSec tunnel between "A" to "B" with 3DES and IPSec between "A" to "C" with DES

Is it possibe?Means from a PIX525 (3DESand DES enabled) is it possibe to create a IPSec tunnel between two other site with one site 3DES and with another site DES.

right way is to get 3DES license, it's free...

http://www.cisco.com/go/license

if one has 3DES,DES and another has got only DES, then you can build a DES ipsec tunnel.

Yea,you are correct,One IPSec tunnel is 3DES to 3DES the other one is 3DES to DES.Is this possible?

Yes, you can create IPSec tunnel between "A" to "B" with 3DES encryption and IPSec between "A" to "C" with DES encryption.

But better way is to obtain a 3DES license.
