Hello,
I have a Cisco router 877 configured as a Easy VPN Server. When I connect my laptop in the local lan I can access to the shared folder on the server. But when I connect my laptop from my house using a vpn connection I can't view any shared folder on the server (Windows 2003 Server). I have ping in both ways. Is it necessary any extra config?
Thanks.

do you have correct DNS/WINS settings on the client.
compare them with local settings.
also check access-list on the Easy VPN Server
[Pls RATE if HELPS]

DNS settings are the same in the local lan and through the VPN. We don't use WINS and there are not access-list configured in the Easy VPN Server. But I have just seen some setting of NetBIOS. The NetBIOS config is by default, but the DHCP of VPN clients is the router, so maybe I have to check "enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP". I haven't got so much experience with win 2003 server.
Thanks.

I have read that if you want to share folders in several subnets you must use WINS Server (becasue NetBIOS uses broadcast message). Is it ok?
Regards.
