The IOS upgrade on our 1841 routers from image
c1841-advsecurityk9-mz.124-9.T3.bin to c1841-advsecurityk9-mz.124-15.T5.bin appears to
cause problems with the WIC-1AM-V2. After the upgrade I get a line of garbage when
attaching to the modem. Is this a known issue and is there a firmware update or
configuration change that will resolve the problem?
I have tested this out on several routers that have different running configs. Also
swapped a couple modem cards out to make sure it wasn't hardware related. I then noticed
by reverting back to the old IOS they all started working again. I can only assume there
is some firmware update needed, a config change, or this might be a IOS compatibility
problem.

Press on the TAC to have the problem reproduced.
At that point they will open a bug and eventually it will be fixed.
