Can anyone tell me of a way of policing traffic based on the vlan interface. I have a network that is comprised of multiple VM's all connected to various vlans that i would like to control the bandwidth on. I setup vlan based qos and found that you still have to applied matched traffic to a physical interface. Is there any known way of implementing traffic policing on a vlan traffic only?

Any idea's would be appreciated

VLAN based QoS is not supported on the 3560/3750. AFAIK it's only supported (stackable) on the 3550.

Hope that helps.

Yes Ive looked at the link you referenced and it still requires phyiscal interfaces bound to the vlan in order to perform the policing.

This wont work for my scenario.
