515E Active Active or Active Standby Failover VPN?

I am looking to do failover with two Pix 515E devices and looking at the advantages and disadvantages for Active Active and Active Standby. I see Active Active lists as not supporting VPN because of the multiple contexts. Is this just referring to site to site VPN or mobile user VPN as well. Any other advice on the advantages/disadvantages that others have run into in an active active config?

Does this mean, you can not do vpn at all or it will not failover? What are the vpn restrictions of this?

Hi,

When configured for multiple security contexts or Active/Active stateful failover, IPSec or SSL VPN cannot be enabled. Therefore, these features are unavailable.

Hope this helps.
