Hi,
CUCM 4.2(3), ISR 2851 with VWIC2-2MFT-E1.
The scheme is: CUCM <ip> ISR 2851 <e1 isdn pri> PABX.
ISR is connected to PBX via 2 (two) E1 PRI links.
The question: what type of signaling, H.323 or MGCP, could you recommend to implement ?
Of course, both MGCP and H.323 are workable and full-value configuration.
But can you recommend the advantages/disadvantages per confuguration ?

really depends on what you need to do with the calls and how much config you want to do, maybe this docs clears this for you

I would highly reccomend using H323 as MGCP is slowly losing ground as a prefered method. SIP and H323 will be the protocols of choice in the future.
H323 now provide call preservation which is helpful for the customer to maintain 99.999
