I am building a home lab. I have 4 2620 routers and 4 3550 switches. My question is can I use one of this routers to access the other routers and switches rather that moving the console cable every time I access the other devices? Also can one of the routers be used as a frame relay switch? Some one had a diagram and configuration posted previously I just can't find it.

Hi,
Actually if you configure properly you can access everything from everywhere via telnet, no console cables are needed unless you lock yourself out of something.
And yes the router can be used as a basic frame-relay switch good for lab purposes.
please rate post if it helps!

you'd better try dynamips.

Yes, you can. But you have to have serial cards and cables.
