Cisco 857 and SDM 2.5

Unanswered Question

Today I'm trying to configure this router, and I have a problem configuring the firewall rules by SDM or ES.

When I use the basic/expert wizard to configure it, when I finish and send all the commands to the router, say that have an error in a class-map line.

I think the 850 series don't have that command 'class-map' only 870 and up. So I don't understand why SDM try to configure the firewall using these commands. Normally use IP INSPECT command.

That eror, only happens with new router and I check the IOS and is 12.4-15.T5.

I don't know if the problem is SDM 2.5 (I try with 2.4 too) or the new IOS.

Somebody have the same problem or know the solution.

I don't believe the 850 series supports class maps. I'm not sure why SDM tries to apply class maps to the 850. My guess is that all newer 800 series routers use the same generic configuration template in SDM.

I have the same problem.

And I can't solve this probem by myself.

Why Cisco supplies unready product?

How about "Plug and Play" philosophy?

I require that Cisco solve this problem.
