7304 router ethernet interface config problem

I am trying to do a simple config on gigabit ethernet interface of 7304 router. It does not give option for configuring speed,duplex, media. The interface is down/down. I configured IP address and tried everything but it is not coming up. Here is some useful config output. Any thoughts!!
